Adrenaline Slump and Excessive Tiredness
Millions of people worldwide who experience chronic excessive fatigue and its resulting depression have one common question: what causes constant tiredness? If the causes of chronic tiredness were only known, then there would be a known cure. Unfortunately, most conclusions are theoretical causes, albeit most doctors accept them as real.
Have you ever heard of adrenaline addiction? Well, this is the condition where a person is so used to extreme workouts and the resulting ‘rush’ is likened to feelings of strength and invincibility. But those who are addicted to adrenaline are also athletes and fitness fanatics who may be considered as one of the healthiest bodies in the world. When the adrenaline levels in the blood go down, there is tiredness felt. Although this is normal, this can become an abnormal occurrence when the person is neither an athlete nor a fitness fanatic. So what exactly is happening?
Biology 101 has taught us that the body has glands which secrete hormones into the bloodstream. These hormones enable various parts of the body to function properly. If one of these falls short of its functions, there is instability. Hormonal imbalance not only affects the body physically, but it can also affect the emotions. Why? It is because the brain which controls everything gets affected by the imbalance.
Chronic fatigue syndrome is still considered to belong in the field of psychiatry because of the depression that results from it. Although there is still no conclusive evidence that the hormones are the main culprit, it is evident that it is part of the problem.
There are medical approaches that involve the prescription of hormone replacement supplements; however, most of them are experimental. The effects are not that conclusive, nor are they that promising. What is known is that the medical world looks at these alternatives as having the potential to ease the symptoms.
