The Aromatherapy Store is committed to simplifying and taking the enigma and confusion  out of the,sometimes perplexing, world of essential oils and aromatherapy. As an industry and an art,  started within the austere realms of cottage and home curatives, we seek to make the oil’s benefits lucid and reachable to all. Whether youre an veteran Aromatherist,  a Fully Qualified Massage Therapist, or just somebody who is awake to the wonderworking characters of aromatherapy and the use of essential oils, we hope you’ll detect what youre searching for here.

Organic or Not Organic?

We root our oils from little individual producers in India, China, South East Asia , Eastern Europe and the Southern Mediterranean region. Where feasible we try to origin from organic manufacturers who farm and cultivate with conscience. However this isn’t constantly achievable – and in particular this is real of producers and individuals molding the soil in deprived fields of India and China. These people are frequently working plants in a moderate holding sites and as such cannot afford to commit their ground to organic product. They oftentimes grow the plants for essential oils alongside vegetables and fruit for sale to the localized markets, ans as such  trust on local marketplaces and buyers – and in a impoverished country their purchasers cannot afford to give a premium when they themselves are experiencing on a hand to mouth footing. These individuals can see ‘organic produce’ as the opulence of more fortuitous lands.

At The Aromatherapy Store, we as a party take aim to function together with these self-supporting producers, who fall below even the echo sounders of Fair Trade Industry organisers and make mutually advantageous economic and business kinships and we’ll be featuring individual manufacturers tales in the coming calendar months so you’ll get a chance to view who is gaining from the commerce that comes about here in the West!
