  • Running Can Help with Easy Weight Loss

    My jogging partner Sam and I love it now that it is spring.I have to admit though that I am a fair-weather runner.I don’t really like weight lifting at home - so I joined a fitness club - and started running on treadmills to supplement my easy weight loss diets.Love treadmills or hate them - you can watch television on them.Running is my constant companion for wellbeing and health - for 6 years now.I was sorely disappointed when I couldn’t fit my 34 inch pants at age 31.When I tried running 4 years ago and couldn’t last 10 minutes, I had to do something.Just daydreaming about french fries seems to now make me gain weight - that’s why I must be on a weight loss program.Choose a workout objective so you have something to strive for.Health is a two part formula: exercise and eating well - that’s it.Poor health affects everything - brain function and wellbeing included.I started jogging by walking.What a great day it was when I ran for a full hour - it did wonders for my easy weight loss diets program.Now that I can run for over an hour, I’m looking to cross train.Muscle memory in my legs was the point where my jogging took off.When I sit down in a comfy chair and review my training diary, I’m often surprised.I love reading training success stories of fellow runners.I long for jogging in 25 degree celsius weather this summer.The worst running is on busy roads like highways.There is no doubt that running in general will continue growing.If you’re into running on trails, treadmills are great because of  the incline. I get inspired reading Outside magazine about the adventure sports.There’s no doubt that the ultra trail runners are the toughest athletes.I’m going to clean the cobwebs off my old mountain bike and start some cycling now and then.What I love about running and cycling is you can do them on your own.If my cycling training goes well, I may treat myself to a multi-day cycling journey.
